Disability Peterborough

Client Intro

Disability Peterborough is a hub based in Peterborough, Cambridgeshire for confidential and impartial information and advice for physically disabled people and their carers. They also happen to be Echo’s first ever client! We have worked closely with the team at Disability Peterborough on many projects since 2012.

The Problem

We were approached by the CEO of the organisation to build and launch a new website which would have a more modern and relevant appearance, whilst crucially being easy to navigate.

The Solution

We created a website using WordPress which can be readily edited by their team when necessary.

A vital feature of the site was accessibility as the majority of their users have a physical disability or impairment. Accessibility was tested after the website launch by focus groups consisting of users with differing challenges. Secure document storage was implemented to promote confidence from users when entering sensitive data.

The objective was to build a modern website which was simple for users to locate specific information when needed and we are confident that is what we achieved. We continue to work with Disability Peterborough and connected associations within this community sector.
