What Sit and Sleep Wanted
Sit and Sleep’s main objective was to increase brand visibility within a highly competitive online furniture market and drive higher online revenue through SEO and PPC. They also aimed to compete more effectively with national retailers who were dominating search results for high-value sofa bed keywords.
The Challenge We Faced
Sit and Sleep’s existing online presence was struggling to gain visibility for key product search terms, particularly those related to sofa beds – one of their core revenue drivers. Despite offering high-quality products and excellent service, their website was not achieving the organic or paid reach necessary to compete with larger national retailers that had stronger brand authority and significantly higher marketing budgets.
Technically, the website had limited optimisation in place, which restricted its ability to rank well in search engines. Key product pages lacked the on-page SEO structure required to capture high-intent traffic, while ad campaigns were not delivering a strong enough return on investment due to insufficient targeting and weak conversion tracking.
In addition, Sit and Sleep faced the challenge of differentiating themselves in a market saturated with well-known competitors offering aggressive promotions and widespread online visibility. To level the playing field, we needed to implement a strategy that not only improved the technical and creative performance of the website but also strengthened brand authority and trust across digital channels.
Our challenge, therefore, was twofold: to enhance Sit and Sleep’s search visibility and paid advertising performance to increase online revenue, and to establish a sustainable marketing framework that positioned them competitively against national retailers in the sofa bed market.
