Gymkit UK is one of Europe’s leading suppliers of commercial gym equipment. They hold over 5000 fitness machines, stored in over 5 warehouses across the UK.
When Gymkit first came to use they needed an agency to be responsible for all of their online marketing activities, including building their website. We manage their entire SEO, Pay Per Click, Social Media and we’re working on round two of their website (stay tuned!).
We developed a full SEO strategy and clear keyword targeting, improving their keyword rankings across a variety of competitive, national terms. We set up over 50 individual PPC campaigns to target their wide range of stock and encourage phone calls toward their sales team. Finally, we created social media profiles, using a combination of organic and paid techniques to increase following, engagement and website traffic.
Fast forward to 4 years later and organic traffic is now responsible for the majority of their online sales, generating hundreds of phone calls every month. This website also managed to win us Gold at the Cambridge Digital Awards!
We’ve achieved 60% Year on Year growth within the first year of our campaign and reached over 15,000 organic visitors per month. Since working with Gymkit we’ve helped them generate over £1,500,000 in online sales (not bad right?).
During the campaign, we’ve reached page 1 rankings for national terms such as ‘Treadmills for Sale’, ‘Commercial Gym Equipment’ and ‘Refurbished Gym Equipment’ helping them to secure a 3,925.93% increase in revenue during the March 2020 surge in-home workouts. We’re not forgetting about their social presence either. Since taking over their Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn and Instagram, we’ve published a number of social media posts that went viral, with one post receiving 30,000 individual comments.
Since enhancing their online presence for gym refurbishments they’ve acquired projects from Virgin Active, Anytime Fitness, Bannatyne and David Lloyd.
