Vermillion Films

Vermillion Films is a creative production company with bases in both Birmingham and London. They work with all sizes of businesses from large corporations, small startups and digital marketing agencies.

We were approached by the Vermillion team to take a look at their company website, provide a technical audit and suggest changes with a view to upgrading the overall performance. After looking at the website in detail we identified that the coding was not to the optimal standards and this could negatively effect the search engine visibility.

A decision was made that we would proceed with a rebuild of the site, retaining the existing design and making minor improvements where necessary, utilising our own extensive, lightweight method of building a website with the WordPress CMS. We considered the website speed to be a crucial element, so time was spent ensuring both Google PageSpeed and the real-time loading performed with maximum efficiency. The SEO migration was also an important element, ensuring that all value from the old version was moved to the new template, along with any tracking codes & scripts.

The outcome is that the website loads much faster, performs more competently for SEO purposes and is easier for the Vermillion team to edit themselves. It renders seamlessly across all devices providing a user-friendly, informative online representation of the services offered and showcasing their portfolio of works completed.
