As May draws to a close we thought now would be a good time to update you guys with what’s been going on at Echo HQ.

May has been a super busy time for our Peterborough Web Design team with the completion of many new projects (and the launch of many more too, so watch this space!).

Peterborough Pensioners Association

Our first Web Design project of this month was Peterborough Pensioners Association (PPA). PPA is a local group of Pensioners that are affiliated to the NPC and have been operating in Peterborough since 1993, providing support and guidance to local pensioners. We were tasked with creating a user friendly, responsive website that the Peterborough Pensioner’s members would be able to update themselves. We built the website on WordPress and provided full on-site training along with a custom made user guide for how to update the website themselves.

Greater Peterborough Network (GPN)

The second web design project of the month was for Greater Peterborough Network (GPN). GPN are a network of NHS Healthcare Providers owned by the partners of over 20 practices in the Greater Peterborough area. We were tasked with creating a clean, functional website and we also provided a professional photography service for all of their website images. The website is also fully responsive to work with all mobile devices.

Hereward Sports & Leisure

The third web design project of the month was an ecommerce store for Hereward Sports & Leisure. Hereward are Peterborough based leisurewear, corporate clothing, trophy & award specialists, supplying sports teams, clubs, schools and businesses across the UK. For this project we had to create thousands of custom products, each with individual option sets as well as integrating a custom request a quote feature. We chose to use WordPress and WooCommerce for this project and ensured that the website was also fully responsive. This was also another project where we were able to provide a professional photography service for the website images of their showroom.

Inspire Peterborough

The forth web design project of the month was a website redesign for one of our longest running clients; Inspire Peterborough. Inspire Peterborough is a local registered disability charity that promotes sport and leisure activities, Health & Well-being initiatives and support for disabled people and their family members and carers. We redesigned their WordPress website with a much more up to date and user friendly design, as well as creating the functionality for an events calendar that they could update themselves. We continue to work with Inspire Peterborough each month, helping them to develop their online presence.

DS Movements

The fifth web design project for the month was a WordPress website for DS Movements, a local removals and courier service. DS Movements requested a clean and modern design, built on a platform that they could update themselves. DS Movements have also asked us to provide them with an ongoing digital marketing service, helping to generate traffic and grow their online presence.

NJ Pacey Landscaping

The sixth web design project of the month was a website redesign for N J Pacey Landscaping, a Peterborough based provider of commercial and domestic landscaping services. Their previous website was very basic and in much need of a redesign to bring it up to today’s modern standard. We migrated their previous website over to WordPress and developed their new website using the WordPress CMS system.
